All pupils leave Spa with accredited qualifications that
- are matched to their interests and needs
- prepare them for their next steps in further education, training or employment
- prepare them for independent adult life.
The Spa Curriculum is designed so that over time our pupils develop the knowledge and skills they need to achieve these qualifications.
The accredited qualifications our pupils achieve are different each year. This reflects the choices pupils make, their interests and their individual abilities.
Pupils in KS4 work towards: WJEC Entry Level Maths and Science awards and ASDAN Transition Challenge
Pupils in KS5 work towards: ASDAN Personal Progress Diploma (Maths, English, PSHE and Art credits), ASDAN Short Courses (Options) Functional Skills Entry 1, 2, 3 and Level 1 in English, Maths and Computing
An Accreditation long term plan will be updates shortly to reflect changes in ASDAN units for 21/22
