SSB School Council
Our school council is made of representatives from each class and meets with the Deputy Headteacher every half term. The agenda is shared in advance and pupils gather the opinions from the class ready to share at Council meetings. Votes are taken on key issues such as items on the school menu and equipment for the playground and sports hall. Pupils are able to items to meetings agenda.
In December 2023 we had a school wide vote on whether to keep or change our Friday menu. The results are in! 75% of pupils voted to keep the Friday menu as it is with only 24% pupils voting for a change. There was only one class in which the majority of pupils voted to change the menu.
